San Antonio, Texas – (June 14, 2018) – AMG Integrated Healthcare Management today announced plans to acquire major assets from Acuity Hospital of South Texas who announced plans to close its long-term acute care hospital on July 14, 2018.

AMG Specialty Hospital will be a 30 bed LTACH that will provide treatment for patients with medically complex needs who require hospitalization for an extended period of time. Common medical conditions or treatments include respiratory failure, ventilator weaning, complex wound care, cardiac-related disorders with telemetry monitoring, post-operative complication, infectious disease, renal disease and multi—system failure.
